The Institute for the Sociology of Law and Criminology (IRKS) in Vienna, Austria, organised four round tables with their local partner organisation Wohnpartner to present project ALTERNATIVE to several NGOs and interested organisations, to show the participatory film making they created during the action research and to host discussions.
On 20 November, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, IRKS organised its first round table with ‘re-just’, a group of activists and students. On 12 December, from 9 am to 12 pm, IRKS invited the neighbourhood centre at Am Schöpfwerk to participate in their second round table. The NGO Wien Jugendzentren were invited on the 15th of December for a third round table.
On the 27th of October, IRKS invited the probation service Neustart. On the 20th of October, IRKS invited the group ‘re-just’, a group of activists and students working on and promoting restorative justice, within the premisses of the ‘versöhnungsbund‘.
